Fund Development

  • Do we have a ministry budget?

  • Do we set and pursue financial goals?

  • Do we maintain a positive balance in our account?

  • Do our leaders personally contribute (funds, gifts-in-kind, etc.) to the ministry?

  • Do we employ a staff member (part-time or full-time)?

Governance

  • Do our leaders meet regularly with a clear agenda?

  • Does our leadership team meet at least twice a year?

  • Do we bring new people onto the leadership team at least every two years?

  • Do we delegate tasks effectively among leaders?

  • Are all of our leaders national CMDA members?

  • Do we have someone who “owns” the assimilation of new people?

  • Do we maintain regular communication with members and friends (email, newsletters, etc.)?

Relationship to National CMDA

  • Do we encourage national CMDA membership among participants?

  • Do we send people to national and regional CMDA conferences?

  • Do we maintain a website or social media presence?

  • Do we have a Side by Side and/or WPDC local chapter?

  • Do we maintain regular contact with our Regional Director?
